Jolene Creely is from Okanese First Nation located in Treaty 4 territory. She is proud of her Plains Cree culture and Dakota Sioux heritage. Jolene is currently enrolled in Indian Communication Arts (INCA) at the First Nations University of Canada in Regina as a first year student. Jolene is an accomplished and self-taught powwow dancer who enjoys travelling to many powwows to express her love of culture. Jolene is a former Miss Teenage Eastern Saskatchewan 2014-2015 and also Miss Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations 2014-2015. After gaining experience in pageantry, Jolene hopes to use her social skills and public speaking abilities to be a broadcast journalist throughout Canada. Jolene is halfway through her INCA certificate, and hopes to receive her bachelors in Journalism at the University of Regina.
