Clairice Tuckanow is a 22-year-old Cree woman from the Treaty Four Territory. Clairice grew up on the Okanese First Nation in a family of 5, and was the youngest in the family. Clairice enjoys creative writing and has an interest in talking to people and meeting new people. Clairice also has a love for children, and spends most of her time playing and teaching her 2-year-old son new things. Clairice is also a first year student at the First Nations University of Canada and wants to earn a journalism degree. Clairice has a passion for her Indigenous culture and enjoys learning new things. Clairice hopes for success in the future for herself and her son. Clairice currently resides in Lebret, and loves being close to her grandma and enjoys chatting over a hot cup of tea. Clairice believes Elders are a big part of life.
